HIMAWANTI Nepal has signed with DAI/PANI Project on 12th January 2018 to implement the project “ Strengthening Capacity of Nepal’s Water Users to adapt to Climate Change at the Central and Grassroots Levels” in 2 watersheds of Karnali and Rapti river basin of Nepal. The project will cover 38 VDCs of Seti Nadi watershed of Bajhang district and 39 VDCs of Siban Khole Watershed of Rolpa, Pyuthan, Salyan and Rukum districts. The main objective of the project is to establish a system for assessing, monitoring and testing the health of 2 Watersheds and advocate to implement participatory multi-stakeholder integrated water resource management practices. The agreement was signed by HIMAWANTI Nepal’s president Rama Alemagar and Chief of Party of PANI Mr Allen Turner. The agreement will end on 11/30/2018.
